Yard Operative Location: StallingboroughPay rate: £9.50 Days per hourHours: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturday mornings) 6am - 6pmThe Role: The work will be carried out at a car distribution centre in Stallingborough. The role of a yard operative will be to work within a team in a busy car compound. Your first two days will consist of a two day training programme which will cover all elements of what will be required in your day to day job role.Training programme will cover the following elements :

• Be shown how to use a hand held device to scan vehicles and then demonstrate understanding
• Be shown a site layout of the compound, including load lanes,
• A driving ability assessment to find out if the right candidate is able to drive an array of different vehicles (including electric cars)
• Parking up of vehicles in parking bays
• Be shown load sheets and job cards

Once fully trained you will then be part of a larger team which are a key function to the operation of this distribution centre.Skills / Experience:

• Must be keen and willing to learn
• Must have great timekeeping
• Must have a keen attention to detail
• Full training programme will be given
