About The Role Reporting to the Senior Visitor Services Operations Managers, you will work as part of the Visitor Services Management Team to provide leadership, guidance and support to the Visitor Services Team. The Visitor Services Managers lead and manage service standards across all Visitor Services areas, ensuring sales are maximised and that the customer experience is always of the highest standard by providing a welcoming, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service. You will ensure a safe working environment by ensuing we comply with all health & safety procedures and standards including licensing laws. This role will involve working in all areas, and providing Duty Management cover as and when required, in line with business needs. Your role will also specialise in one of four key areas: Retail, Customer Service, Recruitment & Training or Welfare. Our specialisms allow each Visitor Services Manager to grow and develop within their roles and to explore a key area of our business including overseeing, developing and delivering programmes of work which enrich our team. As a Visitor Services Manager at the Hippodrome, you will provide leadership, guidance and support to our Visitor Services Team. We will look to you to lead and manage service standards across all Visitor Services areas, ensuring sales are maximised and that the customer experience is always of the highest standard by providing a welcoming, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service. You will deliver a safe working environment, by ensuring we comply with all health & safety procedures and standards including licensing laws too. You must have a background in managing customer service teams, ideally in a fast-paced environment. Your technical abilities will be complemented by track record of motivating high performing customer service teams. You will be comfortable handling customer queries and also possess good communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to think on your feet and a commitment to service excellence. This role requires a clear DBS check.
