Trainee Site Manager

A busy housing contractor have a requirement for a Trainee Site Manager for a new development based in Coventry with 180 units with a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes (detached and semi detached).

Duties:

• To observe and assist the Site Manager to ensure all works are carried out safely, to programme, within budget and in accordance with all design standards and company procedures
• Assist the Site Manager in managing contractors and labour on site to consistently deliver quality to the highest standard of quality of work in accordance with inspection and test plans
• To assist the Site Manager to ensure all works are carried out and monitored in accordance with the company safety policy and procedures and in accordance with current legislation's, regulations and environmental standards
• Advise on improving health and safety management practices
• Ensure and review activities on site are following agreed risk assessments and method statements
