Trade Planning Manager

£200 p/d INSIDE IR35

Job purpose
To ensure the smooth running and full coordination of the Trade Plan across Foods. Working cross-functionally so all propositions are well planned, executed as intended, and are delivered in line with the critical path.

Key accountabilities and measures

• Have an overarching understanding of the Trade Plan and how it supports the delivery of the Food Group Strategy
• Manage and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure all relevant stakeholders are aligned and supportive to enable successful delivery of the trade plan
• Milestone & KPI governance of the trade plan and its delivery
• Ensure timely and appropriate engagement and communication of the Trade Plan to the Food Group
• Provide timely and accurate reporting on milestones & KPI’s to the Senior Trade Planning Manager
• Being able to deputise when called upon, representing and leading sessions with stakeholders across Food Group
• Play central role in ensuring all trade plan documents are fully accurate and up to date. Including: the nomination sheets and Master Trade Plan
• Overall Program Management of the Trade Plan – ensuring all propositions are planned in full adherence with critical path. This includes ensuring all phases are comprehensively reviewed through a thorough PIR
• Play part in the team in completing PowerPoint presentations and decks for meetings
• Measures will be:
• A fully executed trade plan, right first time and in line with critical path with positive feedback from stores in the accuracy of the phase guidelines and on launch day
• Positive feedback from Category teams via the phase PIR on the plan along with delivering on sales and profit
