Join our clients Technical Team as a Technical Assistant and play a key role in upholding the highest standards of food safety, compliance, and quality. Working closely with the Technical Manager, you'll help keep our site inspection-ready, our paperwork spotless, and our customers confident in everything we do.

What You'll Be Doing:
Maintaining up to date technical documents and databases
Supporting national account customers with technical information and queries
Coordinating sample schedules, lab testing and environmental swabbing
Leading traceability exercises and supporting mock recalls
Assisting with internal audits, hygiene checks and non-conformance investigations
Reviewing operational paperwork and supporting the allergen matrix
Preparing for and assisting in customer visits and third-party audits

About You:
Experience in a QA or technical role within food manufacturing
Familiarity with BRC or SALSA standards
Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Confident working independently and within a team

Bonus Skills (Not Essential, But Nice to Have):
Level 3 HACCP & Food Safety qualification
Internal Auditor certification
Knowledge of TACCP/food defence
Understanding of UK food labelling laws
