About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Stockroom Coordinator to join an FTSE 250 Aerospace Organisation. Headquartered in the UK, my client is a global engineering group specialising in extreme environment components and smart sub-systems for aerospace, defence, and energy markets. My Client has over 50 years of experience in the design, manufacture, test, and support of a wide range of radomes for airborne, naval, and land-based platforms.
You will be working within the Composites Sector on Radome contracts for Military Aircraft with raw materials, sub-assemblies, and finished goods. Using your experience of Stockroom/Inventory Coordination you will ensure that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorised personnel, maintain controls over various types of inventories and conduct physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records. You will also complete analyses of inventory levels, and coordinate with production and other functional areas, maintain inventory records using our internal system and communicate effectively with internal functions and external freight forwarders.
What are we looking for?
You will need to have experience working within a stockroom/inventory/materials management environment. Ideally for manufacturing/production or engineering.
We would also like you to have:
Excellent internal and external customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise with changing situations
Ability to solve typical problems by evaluating and selecting solutions from established options
