As part of the Novus quality team the Staff Training and Development Technologist will be responsible for using appropriate technologies, to produce high-quality online learning materials that support training and development of Novus staff; developing and maintaining Novus' training and development platform; and developing online solutions to track and monitor Novus staff training accomplishments and needs.
To be successful in the role of Staff Training and Development Technologist you will be required to;
Manage and develop online courses and course content for Novus staff (including filming and using software to develop online courses).
Manage and develop online tracking systems to ensure that Novus staff have their training accomplishments and needs recorded.
Produce reports which provide an up-to-date compendium of staff training accomplishments and needs.
Liaise proactively and responsively with a range of relevant staff to develop and implement course content for the online platform.
Ensure that the presentation of course content on the online platform is of a consistent high quality to provide an excellent user experience.
Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in order to promote learning solutions that are current, efficient and enhance the training and development experience.
Provide support to staff and others using the online platform and other learning technologies where necessary.
Train staff in the use of learning technologies.
Prioritise own workload and work proactively and flexibly to ensure deadlines are met. Qualifications, skills and experience required:
Degree level qualification or relevant experience or professional qualification.
Numeracy and literacy skills
Experience of using learning technologies in an educational environment.
Experience of audio and video creation and editing (e.g. Premiere Pro).
Experience of developing creative, accessible and engaging learning resources using e-learning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline)In return you will receive:

This Staff Training and Development Technologist role is offered on a permanent, full time basis, working 37 hours per week. You will be based Novus Head Office in Manchester Openshaw Campus.
