Staff Accountant, FOAA Leases
The responsibilities include month end closing activities for multiple leasing accounts, preparation of reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis.
This position supports management in financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures, and policies. It also plays a key role in promoting system and process development within the department to ensure efficiency and control improvements.
The successful candidate will have a strong desire to innovate processes and exceed expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Knowledge & Skills / Business Acumen / Education & Experience- Certified Accountant with CA
- Experience in Retail, Marketplace, or Financial Retail Services is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Focus on Operational Excellence, Process Improvement, and Simplification
- Excellent knowledge of financial controls and procedures; US GAAP knowledge is a plus
- Advanced Excel and SQL skills are required
- Experience with Oracle/SAP
- Flexible, adaptable, well-organized
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean methodologies is preferred
- Proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and a strong team player
- Manage month-end closing activities for leasing ledgers, review and analyze open items, and prepare reconciliations
- Support management in financial accounting, reporting, and compliance with SOX requirements
- Promote system and process improvements within the department
- Manage responses to internal and external audits
- Contribute to ongoing efficiency and control enhancements
- Lease updates in Tririga
- Manage MEC and process improvements
- Perform reconciliations and journal processing
- At least 1 year of finance experience
- At least 2 years of Accounts Receivable or Payable experience
- Experience applying KPIs to analyses
- Proficiency in Excel, Access, Oracle, SQL, VBA
- Experience using data for business decisions
- Experience in corporate finance, budgeting, and reporting
- Participation in continuous improvement projects with measurable results
- Experience with TM1, Data Warehouse, and SQL
