IFG are recruiting a Senior Operations Manager to head up a trust in Kent with 31 schools. The management team for the sites comprises ofan Operations Manager, two Business support managers and two support chefs. You will directly be be responsible for around 18 sites with the Chef Managers/ Executive Chefs reporting directly to yourself.
As this is a regional role you must be happy to travel and have your own transport- we wil pay mileage and a car allowance.

Whats this all about?
You will already be an Area Manager/ Operation’s Manager within contract catering or retail, you will have managed at least 20 sites and be used to meeting with clients and leading teams with a passion for food and service you will be a people person with the ability to manage across multiple levels.
Manage, inspire, and engage the teams?
Understand, track, and manage the schools restaurant profit contribution to the business, being conscious of our food and service offering and client expectations?
Meet with clients and stakeholders to build effective relationships, gain trust, and drive our shared goal of feeding more students, better food?
Its all me, me, me
You will have managed at least 20 sites; managing and guiding the chef managers with the day-to-day running of the site as well as building excellent client relationships.
You will be comfortable conversing at all levels, from the kitchen to the board room.
You will also beself-motivated, resilient, and highly organised; with an understanding of how to prioritise effectively.
You wont be afraid of the Office suite and will be a dab hand at producing spreadsheets and presentations to show how well youre doing
