Based in the TJX Europe creative studio in Watford, the Senior Copywriter will create best-in class creative content for the growing retails brands TK Maxx and Homesense within TJX Europe, part of the Global Retail Company TJX, Inc.

To demonstrate high levels of creative expertise to develop and create content for all digital creative, covering: emails, social, OOH, and much more. Delivering modern, effective and inspiring creative copy at all times.

Reporting into the Copy Manager for TJX Europe, the Senior Copywriter will have specific responsibility for the timely copy and creative concepting of weekly content in line with agreed schedules, business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative copy delivery

An expert in brand tone of voice and creative copywriting for all brands and Corporate Responsbility through-the-line
Develop exceptional ideas and write engaging, inspiring and on-brand copy for all channels, especially social
Specialised breadth of knowledge
Ownership of creative copy, ensuring delivery of compelling and differentiating 'on brand' copy for daily, weekly and seasonal campaigns
Inspire others to find innovative and creative ways to bring TK and Homesense to life
Responsible for the day-to-day creation and timely delivery of work to briefs
Innovate and maintain up-to-date knowledge of other brands and competitors
Form a peer group and influence informally and formally inside and outside of TCT
Leads and delivers on core projects from concept creation to proofing final assets, they'll be responsible for all moving parts
Takes ownership and is autonomous over high profile projects
Create strong work that has an impact on the business growth and market share
Puts the brand and customer at the heart of copy development process
To challenge and innovate within The Creative Team
Working closely with the Creative Manager to develop and define, differentiating and compelling copy and content.

Creative Operations

Working closely with the other copywriters, and Brand & Marketing partners, ensuring a consistent and optimised Omni-channel approach to all activity- Including, but not limited to, working closely with the Brand team, Loyalty, Social Media, PR and Digital Media teams that sit within the Core Brand & Marketing function
Takes ownership of processes and is aware of commercial impact on business
Finds creative solutions to creative problems
To contribute to the definition and development of copy style and technical guidelines
Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
In conjunction with manager, learn, analyse and assess results of campaigns against business objectives

Team and Relationship Management

To embody a positive and creative attitude at all times
Influences change within department which has a wider impact on the function
To create a positive, supportive and innovative culture within creative copy team
Maintain and develop strong relationships with the TJX Core Brand and Marketing team, E-commerce teams and business functions to help facilitate the TJX omni-channel vision
Collaborates and contributes to team processes
Awareness of their impact on the business

Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Copy professional with qualification and experience in creative writing, journalism and retail
Experience with social media and content creation essential
Established within a creative copy team as a senior copywriter
A creative thinker and idea generator with strong creative copywriting skills
Great team player with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
Positive, creative and influential
Excellent command of English language and eye for detail
Background in digital marketing advantageous
Passionate interest in fashion and homeware
Can self-sub, with a meticulous eye for checking copy
