The role
We are looking for someone with an ITIL qualification or relevant experience to join our Application and Product Team as a Senior Application & Product Support Analyst . The team ensures business applications are continuously available, maintained and improved to ensure great customer outcomes.
You will lead the application support of a range of applications to ensure the team can support the entire business and all our critical applications. You will provide operational and technical support to business users to ensure that business applications are available and accessible to defined SLAs. You will ensure that applications are maintained and kept up to date in line with organisational procedures and take ownership of corporate applications and ensure they continue to meet the business need.
You will work closely with the Business Engagement Team to understand any emerging needs and help the business deploy new solutions on our estate. In addition, you will:
Provide product support to users of various business applications (inc. but not exclusive to Microsoft Dynamics, Housing Management Systems (MRI), Asset Management Systems (Apex), Microsoft SharePoint and Azure)
Investigate and troubleshoot issues, tasks and other requests for support and determines appropriate actions to take.
Line manage and mentor Applications Product and Support Analysts
What you'll need
ITIL qualification or relevant experience (or a willingness to obtain qualification)
Knowledge and practical experience of: Cloud platforms, products and services and of supporting Microsoft Azure and Office 365 systems
Customer and stakeholder management with a gift for engaging end users, and understanding the impact business systems have on end users
Understanding of the human impact of cyber security, the controls required and user support required.
A continual improvement mindset, looking for opportunities to improve the capabilities of the organisation through better use of technology.
The role is hybrid with a minimum of 2 days in the office.
