Who are we looking for?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheduler / Resource Planner to join our friendly team based at our Head Office in Tytherington, Macclesfield. The role is suitable for office or hybrid working with time spent working from home in addition to attending the office.
In order to succeed in the role, you must be able to demonstrate high attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with experience of using MS Office, including Excel. Strong Geographical knowledge of the UK including postcodes, and previous experience of journey planning for field teams combined with the confidence to work effectively with 3rd party partner and sub contractors is preferential. We are looking for someone who is proactive, can work efficiently on their own as well as being part of a dynamic team in a fast moving environment
What does my new role look like?
As a Scheduler / Resource Planner you will be responsible for the following:
- Ensuring all projects are effectively scheduled with appropriately skilled people to meet/exceed the Clients requirements
- Ensuring all people deployed to projects are done so in the most cost-effective way to retain profit and achieve target margins, as set by the business
- Creating logical and cost effect journey plans
- Acting as the main day to day contact for the resourcing of all projects that are assigned to you, working with the Project & Field Management Teams to deliver on time, every time, for the client.
- Ensuring our systems and all related project information are maintained with accurate data
- Effectively communicating with colleagues in the Retail Operations team to keep projects on track from a delivery and cost perspective.
- Negotiating and agreement of project purchase rates with 3rd Party Contractors
