Due to internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, motivated individual to join the sales team at our Newcastle branch.

Selling to a range of both retail and trade customers, you will have strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service within a fast-moving environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience, ideally from a merchant background, and be looking to develop their career in a busy sales environment.

With a passion to deliver excellent customer service, both in person and over the phone, you will contribute to the branch sales targets whilst developing ongoing working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers. You’ll have a natural drive for achieving targets, following up on customer enquiries and managing accounts and stock on a day-to-day basis.

You’ll need to be resilient and adaptable with the ability to juggle changing priorities in one of our busiest branches.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 07.30am to 5.00pm plus alternate Saturdays 08.00am to 12.00pm.
