Distillery Retail Sales and Marketing ManagerFrome (BA11 4RW), Trowbridge (BA14 8AA) - working across the both sites

  • 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays to check-in with the weekend team
  • £30,000 - £35,000 with OTE £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

About the Role:

You will be responsible for planning, implementing and operating our direct-to-consumer sales at our two sites in Frome and Trowbridge.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing a high-level business-to-consumer sales and marketing strategy
  • Creating and developing the marketing calendar to build a year-round program of relevant, commercial content, events, and promotions.
  • Meeting sales targets, ensuring year-on-year growth in sales and profitability.
  • Taking ownership of the website, social media platforms and on-line booking system.
  • Planning and overseeing a regular program of events to drive footfall and ensuring both sites meet minimum booking numbers every week.
  • Management, recruitment, and training responsibility for a small team of seven and two sites.
  • Buying and stock management for both sites - negotiating with and sourcing suppliers.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.

What skills do you need to have?

  • Hospitality and/or retail management experience.
  • You will be an expert in sales and marketing.
  • You will be a great leader with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You will have the ability to work well in a team, manage people and perform under pressure.
  • You will be enthusiastic and hardworking with a flexible can-do attitude.
  • Gin knowledge is optional, as full training will be provided.
