My client is looking for the right candidate to join their team as an Risk Manager under the Emerging Markets Head of Risk!

Summary

The role holder reports to the Emerging Markets Head of Risk management and assists defining, implementing and monitoring all measurement or control systems needed to properly ensure the overall constraint compliance of the asset management area and other processes, including those of support functions, with the commitment of the firms to the clients and any other third party.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of EM Risk Management
• Manage the Portfolios’ constraints monitoring
• Manage the Risk Management activities (Investment, Liquidity, ESG, Counterparty) for assigned portfolios
• Act as a backup to other Risk colleagues and manage transversal projects across Risk team
  • Manage Key Stakeholder relationships and foster good collaboration practices

Skills/Experience:

• Deep Knowledge about Risk Management in Asset Management and Financial Instruments by either academic degree or industry certification (CFA, FRM, etc.)
• Good communication skills. Comfortable in communicating ideas and analysis at different levels.
• Familiarity of any VBA, Python, Power BI, SQL
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Factset, Risk Metrics, BarraOne
• Ability to work to tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Ability to set own priorities and deadlines and respond to requests from other business areas in a timely and professional manner.
