As the Store Manager you will be responsible for representing the brand and setting consistently high standards throughout the store and forecourt. You will be committed to delivering excellent customer service, be expected to train and coach your team to deliver the same brand standards. Be accountable for all aspects of store performance .

What we are looking for:

  • Ideally 1 - 3 years management experience in retail
  • An understanding of performance data to help drive sales and control costs
  • Preferably some experience in disciplinary / grievance procedure
  • Experience in interviewing and recruitment
  • Computer literate
  • Own transport due to location

To be successful in the role, you will need to be:

  • Adaptable and flexible with a hands-on approach
  • Manage and plan your time efficiently but effectively
  • Be able to prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Be a good communicator and manage your team
  • Have fantastic customer service skills

Role Responsibilities :

  • To ensure all brand standards are met
  • Meeting targets, controlling costs, wages, waste and cash shortages
  • Controlling stock, ordering and receiving deliveries ensuring all shortages damages are reported within the correct timelines
  • Ensure customers are served quickly, professionally with excellent customer service
  • Recruit and develop your team ensuring the correct level of training for their role
  • Ensure all the daily cashing, banking tasks are completed accurately within the allocated timelines
  • Maximising sales by ensuring product availability across the store, excellent merchandising skills
  • Implementing policies, procedures to ensure the store operates in a safe and legal manner to cover all aspects of food safety
  • Ensuring that the store and forecourt are maintained to the highest standard 7 days a week
  • To see in fuel deliveries safely and legally to meet the needs of the business
