Our client is recruiting a Sales Assistant/Consultant to join their team. As a representative of the company, you will be responsible for providing great customer service and promoting the company culture.
The role consists of:
• Engaging with customers and responding effectively
• Identifying customer requirements and make recommendations on what products best suit their needs
• Display expert product knowledge and take initiative where needed
• Drive sales and cross-sell products to increase revenue
• Handle and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely manner
• Operate cash registers, process point of sale purchases and balance drawers
• Keep the sales floor clean and visually appealing
• Answering the phone and dealing with customer enquiries
• Adhere to the policies and regulations detailed in the company handbook
• Carrying out any other reasonable duties asked of you by management
The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week to be worked over 5 days including weekends.
