This large, well established and well known Opticians, who are one of the leading Opticians, with a presence in nearly every town and city in the country are now looking to add a Optical Practice Manager to their team in the New Forest, Hampshire.
They are looking for someone who may one day progress and develop, with a view to one day, in the near future becoming a Director.
Basic salary £25,000 - £30,000
Bonus scheme worth up to £5,000
Full-time, 8:30 to 5:30
Choice to either work 1 day per weekend OR both days doing alternate weekends
Will be provided with excellent training and access to outstanding development courses
Optical Practice Manager Position
As the Optical Practice Manager, you will be the driving force of the business, leading by example and inspiring staff. You will help to lead a busy team of 6/7 people on a daily basis in a medium sized practice. This is a very exciting opportunity for an experienced manager who wants to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager
Your role will be to help lead the team from the front. You will be on the shop floor making sales and coaching your teams and ensuring customer service standards are maintained. You will occasianally be involved in all optical duties such as dispensing but primarily be offering advice, managing staff, troubleshooting, rota management, KPI's, P&L, and dealing with all of the day to day duties.

The ideal person will have a good level of experience within optics or strong retail background. You will be ambitious and hardworking and willing to take on additional responsibilities.
Compensation for the Optical Practice Manager
For your efforts, a competitive salary of up to £30,000 dependant on your experience is on offer, along with a bonus scheme (approx. £5,000) plus 29 days holiday and free parking. You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
