Receptionist/Office support

A great opportunity has arisen for a bright and enthusiastic Receptionist to join a fast-paced team supplying beauty products online to major retailers and trade accounts.

Our client is looking for someone who has previous experience as a receptionist/office support retail experience, preferably from the beauty world would be ideal. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the office which includes answering phones, the organisation of retail orders, speaking to couriers and other companies such as the cleaners, assisting with trade orders and ensuring the office is clean and tidy.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Assist the head of PR and social and the consultant in creating social media content
  • Welcome visitors and guests to the business, support colleagues ensuring guest requirements are met for example drinks, snacks and lunches
  • Taking sales orders over the phone, advising stock availability, and proposing alternatives if applicable to maximise sales opportunities
  • Entering sales orders on the system, creating orders and shipping confirmations
  • Supporting customers with sales support material, price lists, imagery, sample requests, etc
  • Ensuring orders and customer information on the system is up to date and accurate during all times
  • General office management duties from answering calls through to management of team calendar
  • Ensuring the office is maintained at a high standard taking part in general office premise management including liaising with the cleaner
  • Ensure front desk, behind front desk, reception area, board room and office is always tidy

Experience:

  • 1 year+ experience as a receptionist/office support
  • Numerate and proficient with Microsoft office (Essential)
  • Experience in the beauty/gift industry (Desirable)
  • Good attention to detail
  • Quick learner with a positive attitude and can work well within a team
  • Highly organised, expert multi-tasker, self starter
  • Thrives in a fast-paced role and busy working environment

Working hours: Monday - Friday, full time in the office 8.45 - 5.30pm
