Job Title: Purchasing Team Leader Salary: £25,000 Location: Stoke-on-Trent Contract: Full-time, Permanent Our well-established manufacturing client based in Stoke-on-Trent, are looking to recruit Purchasing Team Leader to join their fast paced team on a permanent basis. Key responsibilities as an Purchasing Team Leader: 80% tactical operational purchasing / 20% strategic purchasing Deputise and lead Purchasing administrators Ordering Materials, Supplies and ensuring materials are available and delivered on time Work closely with current suppliers building and maintaining relationships Responsible for own set of medium sized task-based projects set by Purchasing Manager Assist Purchasing Manager in implementing new suppliers and products Assist in Stock Control and Inventory Levels for main factory Liaising with the wider team on orders, stock control and price queries General Administration duties as and when required Desired skills as an Purchasing Team Leader: Self Motivated - comfortable working independently but also a Team Player Ability to effectively prioritise responsibilities and tasks on hand Task focussed and always ensuring that the task on hand is done Diligent and organised Ability to communicate at all levels within and outside of the business Strong IT skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Outlook Good numerical skills Previous knowledge of working in a purchasing team If you feel that you have the skills to be successful in this role, please apply now.
