Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator
Location: Kidderminster (Office-based)
Salary: 25,000 - 28,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (No weekends)

Responsibilities:

  • Source high-quality ingredients/products to meet customer requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers.
  • Monitor market trends to secure the best deals for the company.
  • Handle price enquiries and communicate cost changes to the team.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and increased efficiency.
  • Oversee stock levels to prevent over/under stocking.
  • Raise purchase orders using Sage 200 (training provided).
  • Support new marketing initiatives and explore business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' purchasing experience.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • IT proficiency, including Outlook, Sage 200, and ACT (training available).
  • Good understanding of customer needs (price, quality, availability).
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Team player with the ability to meet deadlines.
