Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator
Location: Kidderminster (Office-based)
Salary: 25,000 - 28,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (No weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Source high-quality ingredients/products to meet customer requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- Monitor market trends to secure the best deals for the company.
- Handle price enquiries and communicate cost changes to the team.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and increased efficiency.
- Oversee stock levels to prevent over/under stocking.
- Raise purchase orders using Sage 200 (training provided).
- Support new marketing initiatives and explore business opportunities.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' purchasing experience.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- IT proficiency, including Outlook, Sage 200, and ACT (training available).
- Good understanding of customer needs (price, quality, availability).
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Team player with the ability to meet deadlines.
