Responsibilities for Purchasing Administrator
- Monitor stock levels and initiate orders as needed to support production schedules
- Support the planning and estimating team with the procurement of materials and consumables
- Conduct regular checks on pending orders and expedite deliveries when necessary
- Perform general administrative duties to assist the purchasing department
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms and pricing
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to facilitate seamless production processes
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in securing the best prices for materials and consumables to optimize cost efficiency
- Proven experience in purchasing or procurement roles
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in IT systems and software related to purchasing and inventory management
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective supplier relationships
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles is a plus
- Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
- Collaborate with the planning and estimating team to support project requirements
- Update and maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain favorable pricing and terms
