My Cambridgeshire based public sector client is looking to recruit a Procurement Manager to join the small team on a permanent basis. The role requires someone who has a background in implementing best practice to deliver first class procurement services, in particular managing a range of ITTs and mini competitions under Framework Agreements (inclusive of publishing tenders' documentation on behalf of the organisation. You will also be required to design, coordinate and manage the tender process including the establishing the route to market, development and preparation of tender documents. To ensure data capture of a register of any conflict of interest, Q&A and development of evaluation criteria and methodology, to moderate tenders and deliver outcome communication.
You will ideally have 5 years experience in public sector procurement as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Good contract management experience is also required.
This role is being offered on a permanent basis with 2 days a month in the office in Cambridge. Salary band is 44,400 to 53,700.
