Price & Promotions Solutions Engineer (m/f/ )
The EMEA Central team is expanding its Price & Promotions capabilities, and we are seeking a Solution Consultant to join us. The primary responsibilities include delivering software implementation projects across all project lifecycle phases, focusing on pricing, promotion planning, and management.
A Solution Consultant must master customer-specific configurations to address client challenges and optimize their systems. While our technological capabilities include processing large retail datasets and delivering forecasts and optimizations, the real value lies in guiding retailers to leverage these insights for their specific business cases.
Your role involves providing personalized analytical and product expertise to new UK, DACH, BENELUX, or ZA customers, ensuring effective utilization of our platform's features. Your experience in process design, analytics, and problem-solving will directly benefit our clients.

Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the design and specification of integration solutions between the RELEX platform and clients' existing software ecosystems.
- Configuring the Price & Promotions platform to meet customer-specific needs.
- Implementing customer-specific business logic using SQL, Go, Python.
- Building analytical queries on large datasets to provide insights.
- Collaborating with product and engineering teams to scope new developments and represent customer needs.
- Providing hands-on consulting and product expertise on campaign evaluation, forecasting, optimization, and automation for new retail clients.
Desired qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or related fields.
- Experience as an Implementation Specialist, Business Consultant, or similar, preferably in retail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach.
- Customer-focused with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Technical proficiency in SQL, Python, VBA, or enterprise software (SAP, Oracle).
- Experience in requirements gathering, process design, and user testing support.
- Comfort working with large datasets and extracting insights.
- Effective communication skills for working with customers and teams.
- Adaptability to fast-paced, agile environments.
- Fluency in English; German is a plus.
- Willingness to travel across Europe and potentially globally.
