More about your role

This is a 12 month FTC contract - Please note this is a home based role but you may be required to visit our northern offices in both Leeds & Preston

As People Business Partner you will support our Senior People Business Partner across a number of business areas. You will play a critical role in supporting management teams to have the right people, in the right place at the right time, delivering our objectives and ensuring an engaged and healthy workforce.

You will need to partner with managers across different business areas and will be responsible for a number of subsidiaries within the PfP Group. You will support the Senior People Business Partner to implement change in relevant areas acting as a change agent and leading on specific projects and programmes of work.

You will support managers with People issues, upskilling where appropriate and engendering a culture where managers manage. You will work collaboratively to review policies and procedures and ensure that new ways of working are embraced by colleagues across the business. You will play an active role in supporting managers with ER cases, referring complex cases to the Senior HRBP.

More about you

You will be CIPD level 5 qualified, or close to qualifying. Most important to us is a strong track record in managing ER cases and working with managers to upskill and develop their people management skills. Experience working for a diverse business would be preferred, our workforce includes skilled professionals through to a transient manual workforce and you will need to adapt techniques to meet differing needs.

We also require someone with experience of supporting organisational change where the focus is on putting people first, including our customers and our colleagues.

This is a home based role however being a commutable distance to either our Preston or Leeds office would be beneficial.
