At FreedomPay, the Partner Manager is responsible for maintaining relationships with existing Partners and proactively seeking out and engaging with new potential Partners; working closely with the wider Sales and Partnerships teams, System Integrations, Sales Engineering, Business Development and Sales, as well as our Marketing Teams to effectively identify solutions, while maintain deal flow and consistency with our base.


  • Working alongside the wider Sales and Partnerships teams, System Integrations, Sales Engineering, Business Development and Sales, as well as our Marketing Team. You will proactively be managing the end to end process of establishing a new partnership, including identifying new Partner opportunities, creating a business case and clearly articulated ROI in conjunction with the relevant Sales and Marketing stakeholders, working with Legal and Product to initiate and conclude contractual negotiations, and supporting the conversations between the Partner, Sales and Marketing stakeholders to establish clear ways of working and an effective value proposition.
  • Relationship managing a prescribed group of Partners, maintaining, and developing strong relationships with the appropriate external stakeholders and continually looking for ways to evolve and develop the strategic revenue opportunities available.
  • Responsible for Collating and analysing key partner data, working alongside the wider Commercial Solutions Team to understand key trends, and supporting the relevant business areas in streamlining or improving existing processes or practice, or the value proposition, to drive the maximum commercial benefit of your existing relationships.
  • Reviewing and analysing existing Management Information or market data to assist with the development of new plans and strategies when required.


  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3 – 8 years of relevant experience
  • English lanuage, bilingual preferred
  • Working knowledge of Payments desirable
  • Experience in managing or delivering new projects / initiatives
  • Analytical experience, ability to interpret data and present reports
  • An understanding of developing a strategic vision

Technical / Professional Qualifications

  • Acting as a Project Leader, co-ordinating all activity relating to Partner projects and implementing robust project and communication plans to support both the project team and any affected business areas in the case of any new Partner relationships being introduced or existing relationships or initiatives being altered.
  • Promoting new partner strategies, including any changes to the payments landscape, within the business. Utilising the Sales to develop any niche knowledge and general understanding of Partner relationships across FreedomPay as required.
  • Demonstrating the ability to get to know your organisations inside and out, and proactively acting upon your intuition because you know what is right for FreedomPay and for its merchants
