Role Overview:
- Reporting to the Global Brand Relationship Director, the Partner Analytics Director will lead the global partner analytics team and be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and improving the commercial impact of our brand relationships.
- This role will suit a commercially minded individual from either a product, analytics, or commercial finance background within a retail business.The individual will have experience managing and developing analytical teams across regions, have a deep understanding of analytical approaches and best practice and be able to influence decision making across all levels.
Key Accountabilities:
• Build a lead a team of analysts who monitor existing brand partner performance globally within the JD Group.
• Develop and maintain the evaluation criteria (scorecards) to monitor performance, presenting key actions/opportunities to Global Brand Relationship Director and business unit Managing Director’s worldwide.
• Establish commercial data dashboard, building processes to gather the data from multiple internal departments (merchandising, supply chain, buying, digital marketing, consumer marketing insights) and collate into regular performance review presentations
• Identify and support the sourcing and commercial evaluation of potential new partners
• Develop and maintain risk management and auditing criteria and process.
• Provides commercial supports and insights to brand marketing teams.
Key Deliverables:
• Scorecards set and populated for all partners
• Pipeline of high potential new partners
• Evidence of improvement initiatives to support partner performance
• Employee engagement, development, and retention
Typical Experience Profile:
- Proven commercial experience at a senior level within a retail business (sports fashion retailer would be advantageous but not essential.
- Experience of managing and developing analytical teams across regions.
- Experience of analytical approaches and best practice and be able to influence decision making across all levels.
- Strong influencer across multiple functions.
