Our client, is a well-established Global Freight Forwarder, are now looking for an experienced Ocean Export Clerk - to be based at their office near Marston Green - Birmingham

You will deal with all aspects of Sea freight export and all sea freight export documentation and administration as well as liasing with overseas offices.

Role

• Record information on the CRM System
• Maintain systems and provide a high level of customer service.
• Liaising with sea freight customers,
• Taking bookings, arranging collections, giving quotations,
• Manage end-to-end process for OFR Exports and designated customers,
• Handling all aspects of sea freight documentation, (FCL, LCL exports, Customs)
• Dealing with overseas orders
• General office administration

Skills

You will have previous experience in a Sea freight role with a freight forwarder in a busy Exports Freight Forwarding department.

• Excellent communication

• Ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of BOXTOP would be an advantage
