As an Occupational Therapist, join the supportive team at Healthlinc House in Welton - a specialist learning disability service - where you will help people with complex needs and challenging behaviours to develop new skills, increase their independence and build a brighter future.
You will be working alongside the Occupational Therapy team on as maternity cover for 9 months. You will have experience in managing a designated caseload and will be responsible for completing assessments, planning therapeutic sessions, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to service users care plans.
With a strong emphasis on teamwork, you'll receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of training courses to support you reach your career goals.
This role involves:
Assess and implement individual occupational therapy plans, treatment goals and plan occupational therapy interventions.
Providing specialist clinical advice to service users with learning disabilities, families and peers.
Planning and facilitating needs-led, evidence-based individual and group treatment programmes
To be successful in this role:
Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
At least 3 years of post-qualification experience within similar setting.
To be a member of RCOT
