Today we advise and provide guidance to clients who are looking to support & optimise traditional & modernapplication infrastructure across private, hybrid and public cloud environments. We confidently guide our clientsacross a broad range of technologies (compute, storage, backup), supporting them in harnessing the latesttechnology and DevOps innovations to develop a digital infrastructure platform that can evolve with the needs oftheir business.
The Solution Architect works closely with the Sales community to provide pre-sales support on clientopportunities. The primary value of this role is to understand a client’s existing business challenges and build adetailed technical solution which meets these, engaging with clients and prospects to generate positive interest inthe solutions we provide, as well as the business benefits that can be gained from the investment in these

On a day to day basis, our Solutions Architect will:

  • Collaborate directly with clients and clearly capture their requirements enabling you to architect and design the correct technology solution to meet their business challenges
  • Clearly articulate solutions and business value through detailed, clear and concise client facing documentation
  • Conduct workshops and technology showcases to demonstrate business value of proposed solutions
  • Competently use vendor pricing & design tools, working alongside internal stakeholders on commercial elements of proposed solutions
  • Maintain great relationships with clients, partners and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted technical solutions advisor / advocate for clients
  • Share insight and knowledge where appropriate, helping to grow the overall knowledge of the team and ultimately improve Natilik’s overall technical capabilities.

To deliver in your role we expect the following skills, abilities, knowledge & experience:
Technical Skills & Abilities – some or all of:

  • Designing and/or deploying Public Cloud solutions:
    • Knowledge and/or experience and certification against at least one of the major Public Cloud vendors (AWS, GCP, MS Azure). Landing Zones, IaaS solutions, PaaS solutions, Networking, Recovery, Traffic Management, IAM, Self-Service Vending
  • Designing and/or deploying Private Cloud or Data Centre solutions:
    • Design knowledge and/or deployment experience of on-prem Data Centre and Edge solutions. LAN/Fabric, Compute, SAN, Storage, Data Protection, Load Balancer, Virtualization, Out-of-Band
  • DevOps:
    • Knowledge and/or experience deploying and managing Infrastructure as Code. Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Python, GitOps, Policy as Code, Secrets Management
    • Knowledge and/or experience with DevOps practices. DevOps methodologies, DevOps tools, Site Reliability Engineering, AppOps, Platform Engineering, Service Catalogue

Desirable Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge and/or experience with container environments. E.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Service Mesh, Data Services
  • Knowledge and/or experience with AI/ML environments/architectures
  • Knowledge and/or experience with visibility/observability solutions. e.g., Domain Monitoring, User Experience Monitoring, Application Performance Monitoring, Application Resource Monitoring, FinOps, AIOps
  • Interest and appreciation for technology trends and their architectures such as big data, HPC, IoT, analytics, sustainability, block chain
