I have an exciting opportunity for a creative to join this rapidly growing online retailer, to join their studio creative team and working closely with the Studio Manager this role will involve :

  • Leading the team on a day to day basis and supporting their training and development managing the studio and the team in the absence of the Studio Manager
  • Assist in aligning the company’s photography strategy with the overall business strategy working with the team to develop, implement and deliver the creative content strategy for the business in order to maximise sales and hit profit targets •
  • Liaise with buying teams on trends, product drops and intake dates to ensure we are meeting launch dates •
  • Work closely with the buying and photography team to plan the schedule and to monitor and review seasonally, taking action or making recommendations where necessary •
  • Understand the customer and react to sales and styling feedback from the buying and marketing team to ensure the products have the best chance of selling •
  • Partner with the companies wider ecommerce team working on campaign and social content ideas •
  • Help the manager keep the team on track with the shoot calendar, ensuring quality and consistency of imagery never slips •
  • Keep up to date with trends and competitors to ensure content is in line with the rest of the market •
  • Help to align and define the vision, strategy and roadmap for the business, in order to further establish the company in its period of high growth •
  • Lead, motivate and support the team to achieve improvements in your area that have been set by the Directors •
  • Work with Senior Management team to create and lead the styling vision for the ecommerce, campaign, social and advertising content

What we are looking for :

  • Experience working in a Studio environment mentoring and guiding team members •
  • Photography and retouching skills
  • Videography would be advantageous
  • Exceptional awareness of competitors and seasonal trends •
  • Able to influence and motivate a team and maintain a positive attitude in a high pressured environment •
  • Experience of developing a high performing team with an emphasis on succession and growth planning •
  • Flexible and enjoy working in a high pace, fast moving and changing environment •
  • Strong coordinating, communicating and organising skill set •
  • Excellent people management skills •
  • At least 5 years industry experience •
  • Commitment, drive and self motivation •
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle is mandatory
