KITCHEN SHOWROOM SALES ASSISTANT - BIRMINGHAM WEST (B29) - PART TIME - £10PH + BENEFITS

Kitchen Showroom Assistant required for our client who are the UK's leading and award-winning Kitchen makeover company. Our client specialises in renovating existing kitchens, typically saving customers 50% of the cost of replacement.

They also offer brand new kitchens for those wishing a whole new kitchen.

Due to their continued growth and success, they are now recruiting for a Part Time Kitchen Showroom Sales Assistant to work from their Birmingham Branch

THE ROLE

  • As Kitchen Showroom Sales Assistant you will be the first point of contact for customers coming to the showroom
  • You will be showing customers the products and services on offer e.g., Kitchen doors, worktops, handles etc.
  • Arranging and booking appointments for a member of the team to carry out a home / site visit to take measurements etc.
  • Taking phone calls from potential and existing customers
  • Following up internet and email enquiries
  • Helping customer choose colours, styles etc.
  • Ensuring the showroom is clean and tidy at all times
  • You will also be carrying out general admin duties e.g ordering, filing, post
  • This is a Part Time role working 20-24 Hours per week
  • Hours include Saturdays and additional holiday cover
  • Saturday working hours are 10am to 4pm
  • Working as a part of a small team, helping out in all departments as business dictates
  • You will be working from the Birmingham West (B29) Branch

THE PERSON

  • The successful Showroom Sales Assistant will ideally have experience in a role with significant customer interaction with a sales background
  • Previous experience of KBB - Kitchens, Bathroom and Bedrooms is highly desirable
  • Previous showroom or sales experience is essential
  • Enthusiasm for and a strong interest in home improvements
  • The successful candidate must be able to work independently, often looking after the showroom on your own.
  • Confident, able to convert an enquiry into a lead or site visit
  • Able to work during the weekend, Saturdays with additional hours as required - HOURS TBC
  • You must be IT proficient, able to use email, Word, Excel and the Microsoft suite
  • You MUST have excellent customer service skills with great customer facing skills
  • Hands on and happy to help within all departments
  • Live within a commutable distance to the Birmingham West (B29) Branch
