This purpose-led, creative lifestyle brand with offices in the UK, Hong Kong & the U.S, is looking for a new Key Account Manager to join their successful team, in their vibrant London HQ. You will be responsible for managing their existing portfolio of premium retailers, a mixture of both online and high-street retailers including Selfridges and Oliver Bonas.

You will have the opportunity to work on customer own brand development projects, so a collaborative sales approach is a must. The ideal person will have a genuine passion for product and relationship building, whilst also being commercially focused to perform against company targets.

Your role as Key Account Manager will include:

  • Absorbing yourself into the brand. Learning all about the products, brand, customers, and opportunity
  • Meeting with existing and new customers to discuss upcoming seasons, new products etc
  • Maintaining and growing business with the company's existing UK retail accounts and distributors
  • Keeping in contact with all customers by phone, email and marketing
  • Working on bespoke development projects with your customers
  • Attending trade shows to promote the company
  • Arranging for samples to be dispatched for key retail meetings
  • Negotiation terms and margins
  • Working to and exceeding sales targets
  • Proactively seeking out new opportunities with existing and new customers
  • Analysing sales data to supply forecasts to the wider business
  • Attending weekly sales meetings
  • Staying ahead of the curve, becoming an expert in understanding current market trends

You will have for this Key Account Manager role:

  • Wholesales (B2B) account management experience within consumer products; ideally gift, home, jewellery, games, or beauty
  • Evidence of managing high revenue accounts, with YOY growth
  • A strong ability to form strong relationships
  • Proven ability to grow business with retailer
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to move between written and spoken when necessary
  • Methodical in your approach, with great organisation skills
  • Ability to influence, using negotiation skills to reach specific terms
  • A positive, 'can do' attitude
  • Excellent telephone manner, good vocabulary, and literacy skills
