Connect Appointments is recruiting a motivated Junior Buyer for our esteemed client in Sunderland.
This is your chance to play a crucial role in ensuring smooth supply chain operations and contribute to the success of a leading company.
As a Junior Buyer will include collaborating with the procurement team to source and order materials and components necessary for the production processes - helping maintain optimal inventory levels. Utilising ERP and MRP systems to track inventory, monitor order status, and generate detailed reports.
To be successful, you will ideally have previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role. Combined with:
- Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal teams
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of supply chain principles
