Looking for FMCG/Healthcare Sales Professional- Africa.
Are you passionate about delivering sales and profit growth through effective management of retailers and distributors? Do you have experience driving sales within the FMCG sector in Africa? We have an exciting opportunity for a talented International Account Manager to join our Global Markets Group team managing a portfolio of OTC and mass brands across Africa. Amongst other things, you will develop and build businesses from scratch in key markets within Africa by identifying key distribution partners across the OTC and Mass brands and implementing the marketing activity calendar with retailers and distributor partners whilst managing all aspects of Region P&L.
You will motivate, challenge and support retailers and distributors to maximize sales and profit growth. This role is responsible for the successful business and development of our distributors and opening of new markets within the assigned markets in Africa for the OTC and Mass brands.
Based at our London office where you will be expected to be at least 8 days per month. The rest of the time will be travelling up to 40% of the time or conducting business elsewhere. The person we are looking for will have: · A proven track record internationally with experience of building businesses in Africa and driving of growth in the pharmacy and mass channels. · Previous experience in the OTC, Consumer Health or Mass sector · Considerable proven Account Management experience in the FMCG sector. · Good knowledge and experience of marketing and brand building activities. · An international mindset and fluent in English (essential) and another language is desirable...... click apply for full job details
