Exciting opportunity for a motivated and determined Sales Executive to join the team in a newly created role based in our workshop in Alton, Hampshire.

Internal Sales Executive - Agricultural / Groundcare Equipment Supply & Service
Alton, Hampshire
£22,000 - £26,000 Basic plus commission (OTE £30,000)
Full Time Monday to Friday & alternate Saturday mornings

Who we are:

We are a well-established company with growing sales of compact tractor attachments in both the retail and dealer markets. Operating from our purpose-built warehouse, workshop and offices between Alton and Farnham. We dispatch our machinery UK wide daily through couriers and locally with our own vehicles.

Customer service is at the heart of our business, we strive to offer the best customer experience resulting in us becoming the market leaders in our field. We build firm relationships with our local end-user customers along with a strong presence throughout the whole of the UK through our network of loyal agricultural dealers.

The Internal Sales Executive Role:

We have created a new role for a sales driven individual with a can-do attitude who can thrive working within our busy sales office. The ability and flexibility to meet the changing needs and demands of the business is also essential and being part of our small, target-driven sales team there is plenty of opportunity to grow within the role.

Our ideal candidate should take pride in being part of a growing company. The right mindset is just as vital as your experience. We want someone who has a passionate and proactive, positive approach to sales and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. You will have excellent organisation skills and a natural ability to create and build up a rapport with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Engaging with customers, understanding their wants/needs and helping to choose the right products.
+ Providing guidance and in-depth product knowledge to close the sale -by phone, email or face-to-face.
+ Handling enquiries from new and existing customers, then working with the team to develop existing customers and source new ones.
+ Ensuring all aspects are covered in cross selling, upselling and solution selling to increase business.
+ Organising & leading viewings with customers at our premises and demonstrating tractor attachments as and when required.
+ Providing quotations in a timely manner.
+ Proactively following up to ensure enquiries turn into orders and progress smoothly.
+ Sales order processing from customer enquiry to dispatch.
+ Ensure smooth running of the sales office, e-commerce websites and management of orders and deliveries.
+ Attending trade shows/exhibitions, sometimes weekend working or overnight stays.
+ Reporting customer needs and feedback to management.
+ Suggesting marketing campaigns and working with marketing to reach performance goals.

About You:

+ Experienced in a customer facing role/internal sales.
+ Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) & confident telephone manner.
+ Passionate about sales and customer service, all other training will be provided although industry knowledge is advantageous.
+ Target driven and self-motivated to achieve and exceed performance targets.
+ Able to quickly learn and retain a range of product knowledge.
+ Good IT skills proficient in Microsoft office.
+ Excellent organisation & time management skills.
+ Ability to manage your own workload in a busy and sometimes challenging environment.
+ Passion for pleasing customers and delivering exceptional customer service.
+ Honest, trustworthy and enjoys working in a small, sales-driven team.

What's in it for you?

In addition to a competitive base salary, we also offer a performance-based monthly bonus. Commission is uncapped and would increase with experience & results.

+ £22,000 - £26,000 dependent on experience
+ OTE £30,000 potential
