Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Hygiene manager to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients who is a leading baked good manufacturing company supplying to UK major retailers.
Principle Responsibilities for the Hygiene manager :-
- Ensure awareness of and adherence to all guidelines outlined in the company handbook.
- Oversee production, planning, and engineering to maintain high cleaning standards while minimizing production downtime.
- Lead and drive substantial improvements in cleaning efficiency and effectiveness, aiming for the highest standards.
- Conduct GMP and hygiene inspection audits in collaboration with the Technical and Operations teams.
- Investigate and implement corrective actions in response to out-of-spec micro or allergen results identified by the technical team.
Person specification:-
- Background in hygiene management within the food manufacturing sector.
- Effective communicator with strong influencing abilities.
- Capable of exhibiting a solid ethical foundation in daily business interactions.
- Trained to Level 3 in Food Safety & HACCP (Training Courses to be arranged).
- Chemical awareness training (Training Courses to be arranged).
This is a full time permanent Hygiene Manager position, offering an annual salary of 40,000 plus annual company benefits to include a 33 days holiday, Subsibised gym membership,paid sick and compassionate leave and free car parking and Tea and biscuits
