About The Role

You will provide key administrative support and be responsible for theend to end HR processes and productivity of the Administrative function withinthe Human Resources team.

Process Ownership and Improvement:

Ownership of the HR administrative processes to ensure that these enable the effective delivery of the HR proposition and plan.

Keep processes under review and implement streamlining and improvement opportunities.

Customer Support:

Provide support to the HR team and colleagues at all levels across the business on HR related projects, services and general advice

Conduct internal and external research into areas which could support HR projects or change programmes.

Recruitment / Selection - for company owned estate:

Prepare and issue offer letters, contracts and other legislative documents in support of new starters including references, and ensuring benefits / equipment are set up and in place for a professional on boarding experience.

Training and Development:

Supporting in the administration of or arranging any inductions, training events, team builds or development initiatives.

HR Processes:

Manage the electronic filing system.

Maintain employee information to ensure records are up to date and accurate including pay, benefits, terms and conditions and personal information.

Maintain the company organisational design structure charts.

Ensure all colleague leaver documentation is

processed with payroll; processes are followed including the arrangement of exit interviews and returning company property.

Manage the administrative processes with regard to the company car fleet with and through our external lease partner.

Change Projects:

Support in the collation of data for change projects including Redundancy calculations, TUPE terms and conditions comparisons etc.

Policy Assistance / Application

  • Assist with updating company policies/procedures.
  • Manage the HR shared drive of policies, procedures and standard documentation to ensure a professional image and credible information is provided to colleagues for self-service purposes.
  • Manage maternity and paternity leave requests.
  • Update and monitor absence statistics.
  • Manage the annual holiday booking process across the organisation.
  • Monitor and manage the probationary review process.
  • Work in partnership with the payroll manager to ensure colleagues are paid correctly.
  • Note take in minor investigations or absence meetings (Occasionally)

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is seeking an opportunity to develop and learn in a professional HR environment and who has the following skills:

  • A self-starter who can spot opportunities and develop solutions to improve ways of working and services to our customers.
  • Strong IT skills - competent using Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Excellent numerical and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to confidently influence and build relationships at all levels across the business.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Organisational skills: ability to manage a high volume workload with changing priorities and sometimes challenging deadlines.
  • Professionalism and a great work ethic.
  • A high level of confidentiality (and, if possible, experience dealing with sensitive enquiries).
