A large company is looking for a General Manager to provide a service to a fast-moving manufacturing client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an 18 million budget.
- Engage with unions as essential.
- Build relationships with the team.
- Achieve operational performance as defined by customer contracts and KPIs.
- Meet financial targets for both customer and internal objectives.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and team member satisfaction (annual survey).
- Maintain a credible and up-to-date succession plan.
- Foster strong relationships with customers at all levels.
- Drive business excellence and organic growth.
- Oversee internal and external audits/accreditation.
- Conduct material flow audits.
- Deliver customer scorecards and successful model year and change programmes.
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing retail background is essential.
- Minimum of 5 years experience.
- Educated to university degree level or equivalent professional qualifications.
The role is within a fast-moving manufacturing environment with a very demanding customer.
