Supplying an exciting portfolio of prepared products to the UK retail market, our Client is looking to strengthen their customer facing technical team and offer a fantastic opportunity for a Food Technologist to take ownership of a key retail customer, and build strong relationships across all aspects of the supply chain.

The position of Food Technologist will allow the successful individual to work with a passionate customer focused technical team. Working as part of the highly driven team, there will be exposure to an exciting variety of product categories and the opportunity to further develop highly invaluable technical and customer management experience.

Responsibilities overview;

• Ensure all technical activities required to launch NPD / EPD are completed within the required timeframe
• Manage the writing of specifications, artwork approval, pre-production trials and other key NPD activities

Requirements;

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a factory-based food technical role
• Experience of working with and managing the major UK retailers

This opportunity is employed initially on a contract basis but provides a great opportunity for a technical individual to join a business that supply an exciting portfolio of products to retail customers, offering a platform to progress from a Technical Assistant, Technical Coordinator, Junior Technical Manager role currently to the next step in building a technical career.

Location; Kent
Salary; £30-32k, dependent on experience
Hours; Monday – Friday, with some flexibility required
