The Emergency Services Network (ESN) is a strategic priority for BT, aimed at providing advanced emergency communications for Britain's emergency services, replacing the Airwave network, and leveraging EE's 4G network to serve 300,000 frontline users.
As an ESN Financial Business Partner, you will support the delivery of this critical infrastructure, working closely with programme teams and the Home Office to meet financial objectives. You will need to be cleared to BPSS (or equivalent), with possible requirement for National Security Vetting.
Responsibilities- Partner with sub-programmes to provide financial insights and manage end-to-end financials.
- Lead financial planning and reporting for the sub-programme, supporting decision-making and performance management.
- Challenge and support the programme to stay within budget.
- Implement process improvements for financial efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage billing processes, including queries and disputes.

- Financial and data analysis
- Forecasting, planning, and budgeting
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive and confident in challenging the status quo
- Data analysis skills with proficiency in multiple tools
- Experience in project management and adaptability to change

This role offers a 3-2 flexible working model, requiring presence at the contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days.
