ABOUT THE ROLE:
A fantastic career opportunity has arisen for an experience Facilities Support Engineering Manager to join our busy production site based at Coupar Angus. This is an excellent chance for a facilities professional to demonstrate their skills and experience, while taking ownership of the facilities department, including fabrication, refrigeration, utilities, boiler, HVAC, effluent, grounds work and more. Reporting in to the Site Chief Engineer, you will need to work closely with the wider engineering functions and engage with shop floor management to understand requirements of the total business, which will ensure alignment with the overall site goals. You will be tasked with identifying and delivering energy efficiency projects and other continuous improvement activities as highlighted by the Chief Engineer.
Other responsibilities include:
* Management of all contractors
* Oversee the apprentices in the Engineering department
* Liaise with the teams on projects

* Be a fully qualified/time served Engineer
* Experience in a similar position
* Refrigeration/effluent/boiler experience would be highly desirable
* Ideally manufacturing experience, food manufacturing would be highly desirable
* Possess strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with production
* Organisational skills
