WANTED- A DYNAMIC EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT PERM £45K B46 My client operates 66 businesses across the UK and Continental Europe (France and the Netherlands). Each business operates under its own trade brand and utilises individual sales teams while being supported by the group's network, central teams and resources. The Company's extensive customer base covers both the residential and commercial sectors, with principal customer groups being independent retailers and smaller flooring contractors alongside other customer segments such as larger retailers, housebuilders, and larger contractors. The position We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support both the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Financial Officer. Responsibilities - Pro-actively manage the diary of the CEO and CFO; plans, coordinates and ensures their schedules are followed and respected. - Pro-actively manage, prioritize and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to CEO and CFO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response. - Assist in preparing and managing presentations and reports for CEO and CFO - Making travel arrangements and complete expense reports for CEO and CFO - Coordinate with external advisers regarding proposals, terms and conditions, etc - Complete ad hoc projects as assigned - Coordinate logistics and diaries of Board members around site visits and Board meetings - Coordinate workload and absence cover amongst the small pool of assistants at head office Personal characteristics - Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including executive team, board members, external CEO contacts and wider colleague population - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability - Emotional maturity - Resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be effective independently - Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands - Demonstrated ability to deliver and meet deadlines in a lean, hands-on and fast paced environment - Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions Qualifications - Proven experience of supporting C-suite level executives, preferably in a logistics, distribution or production environment - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat Package - Salary ~£45k - Bonus of up to £550 per annum - Family cover Private Medical Insurance after 3-month probation - Life Insurance - 2 x salary - 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays - Participation in Pension Scheme with minimum employee contribution of 4%, and maximum Company contribution of 8% Call Nikki
