Events Manager – Iconic Scottish Venue Stirling 45 Hours Salary – £30,000 + bonus package

As Events Manager you are responsible for planning, organising, and executing various types of events to meet the objectives and needs of the client. Overseeing all aspects of event management, from conceptualisation to post event evaluation. The role requires strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
A strong Events Manager must be adaptable, impeccably presented, courteous, friendly and willing to go the extra mile for all their clients, customers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning – Design & develop catering packages which meet the client specification whilst falling within budget guidelines. Ensuring constant communication with the client, problem solving along the way whilst resolving issues quickly and effectively.
Logistics Management – Plan and coordinate event logistics, working to the agreed event file and liaising with all heads of department across the event. Ensuring all equipment, staff, menu requirements and client specifics are organised and detailed
Budgeting and Financial Management – Develop and manage event budgets, including cost estimation, expense tracking, and financial reporting. Seek cost-effective solutions and negotiate contracts with suppliers & contractors to optimise budget utilisation
Supplier Management – Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for various event related services. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery
On Site Event Management – Oversee event setup, coordination, and execution. Manage staff, suppliers & partners across all aspects of the event, addressing any issues or emergencies that may arise
Post Event Evaluation – Conduct post event evaluations to assess the success of the event, gathering feedback, and identifying areas for improvement. Prepare comprehensive reports, including financial analysis and client satisfaction surveys
Customer Service – Ensure excellent levels of service are maintained from conceptualisation to evaluation. Deal with complaints promptly and effectively. Build a customer feedback profile to develop and improve service standards and event execution. Be present at all times to drive standards and build long term client relationships
