Job Title: Employee Relations Manager
Location: Role will be covering sites throughout Yorkshire, North West and Scotland
Hybrid role role partly based from home and partly based from our clients sites within the region.
Need candidates who live commutable distance from any of the following locations: Castleford, Huddersfield, Stockport, Wilmslow, Carlisle or Glasgow
Salary: Between £37,000-£44,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) + Company Car, 33 days holiday, Life Assurance and other great Company benefits
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
We are looking for an Employee Relations Manager to join one of the UK's largest car and van dealership networks, and one of the world's most successful vehicle manufacturers.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract role.
The successful candidate will be partly home based and partly based from one of our clients dealerships but will cover a geographical area and be building strong working relationships with managers and colleagues alike and it is where your personality will come into its own.
The locations of our clients dealerships where you need to live near are: Huddersfield, Castleford, Wilmslow, Stockport, Carlisle and Glasgow.
Whilst the role will be predominantly home based / based from your nearest dealership you will on occasions need to visit some of our clients sites which will be based all over Yorkshire, North West and Scotland.
With a high level of HR experience, ideally gained in a retail or blue-chip environment, you'll be up to speed with the latest developments in employment law. You will be responsible for end-to-end case management of disciplinary and grievance investigations, meetings and appeals consisting of conducting witness interviews, collating findings, and producing reports and outcome letters.
Required Experience: -
- A minimum of 3 years generalist HR experience
- Excellent organisation skills
- Clear and effective communicator and influencer, adaptable to all levels of the business
- Objectivity and problem-solving skills
- CIPD or HR Degree qualified
- Full valid driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months with fewer than 9 penalty points. Any previous disqualifications: 4 years must have passed since reinstatement
- Evidence of Right to Work in the UK
- Automotive experience would be an advantage although not essential
