Job Title: EducationalPsychologist
Location: Underley Gardens School - NorthWest
Contract: Permanent, Term Timeonly, There may be scope for this role to be a full-timecontract (52 weeks) if this is your preference, please get in touchto discuss.
Hours: 20 hours per week, 2.5 days per week, TBC
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 pro rata(dependent on experience)
Essential: Full UK DrivingLicence and access to own vehicle required

About the Role
You'll join our multi-disciplinary team of dedicated andembedded clinical staff providing psychological assessment andintervention for pupils within the schools, guidance for educationteams and professional development training for staff. The roleinvolves communicating with families/ carers and specialistagencies. You'll work alongside the clinical teams' OccupationalTherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychotherapists,Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists and TherapiesAssistant's.
Due to most children and youngpeople in OFG already having EHCP's on placement entry, ourEducational Psychologists are afforded the capacity to supportchildren and young people without the time constraints associatedwith EHCN assessments. You will be involved in a rich variety ofwork, delivering and supporting children and young people atuniversal, targeted and specialist service levels, to meet theirEHCP identified needs, and emerging needs.

Who we are looking for?
We are looking for a qualified Educational Psychologistwith a masters or doctoral professional qualification and HCPCregistration. You'll need to be creative and passionate aboutimproving outcomes for pupils with complex needs.
The ideal candidate will be resilient and have experienceof working in with people with complex SEN needs. You'll need to bea good communicator with strong skills in assessment and reportwriting.
KeyAccountabilities:
Provide psychological assessment andintervention for pupils within the schools
Offer guidance for educationteams
To providesupervision to agreed members of the clinicalteam
Communicating withfamilies/ carers and specialist agencies
Engage in professional development training forall staff
Essential Criteria
A doctoral or masters professional qualificationin Educational Psychology
Registered with the HCPC as qualifiedEducational Psychologist
Creative and passionate about improving outcomesfor pupils
Able to work aspart of a team and be self-reliant
Full UK Driving Licence and access to ownvehicle required
