Boots are one of the biggest retail clients in the UK. Their divisions span across Retail. No7, Opticians and Boots Media Group.
Total performance budget is £45m and they are active across PPC, Paid Social and Programmatic channels which EMC manage strategy, planning and buying for .
We have recently retained the digital performance side of the account and in doing so have developed a future proofed digital performance strategy which has been developed in conjunction with the client in order to drive business growth.
The clients are always keen to push for innovation in everything we do, but also are laser focused on hitting specific sales targets on a weekly basis.
We’re looking for someone who has a cross channel background and experience of managing digital performance and brand strategies across retail and driving projects which sit outside of day-to-day trade activity. These strategies and projects are key in delivering against our FY24 objectives which are to drive innovation, accelerate test and learn adoption and in turn deliver stronger performance year over year.
Whilst this is heavily performance led, there is an element of brand digital activation which you will need to oversee and lead the strategy and direction of this investment.

Who are you?
You can develop digital strategies and deliver performance gains across digital performance and brand activity. You have a track record and experience in delivering performance gains for a client .
You’re obsessed with excellen ce in reporting and you can quickly generate insights on how to make performance gains across PPC, Display and Paid Social .
You can identify where things can be improved across PPC, Paid Social and Programmatic based on best practice knowledge/auditing and where to drive efficiencies or performance gains.
You can drive projects forward which are outside of the day – to – day.
You have experience of leading a big team and can operate with different working styles and personalities .
You have experience operating in a consultative/test and learn way of working to guide and lead the client to adopt new innovations and approaches to performance marketing.
You have experience of jumping in the platforms and make changes to performance but also are able to have higher level conversations on performance and strategy across data, tech, measurement and creative .
