We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and motivated Digital Marketing Executive to join the Monsoon Digital team. The main purpose of this role is to support the Head of Digital and Digital Marketing Manager in the development of Digital channels including (but not limited to) PPC, Paid Social, Affiliates, Display, and SEO in the UK and Rest-of-World markets. Understanding how each channel can be optimised to achieve web demand and traffic targets for the business.

What will you do as a Digital Marketing Executive?

  • Traffic Optimization: Your primary objective will be to drive quality traffic to the Monsoon website while effectively managing acquisition costs and maximizing revenue margins.
  • Agency Collaboration: You’ll maintain close communication with digital marketing, attribution, and affiliate agencies, briefing them on promotions and campaigns, and coordinating the creation of advertising materials for Paid Social, Affiliates, Display, and PPC in collaboration with internal brand marketing and design teams.
  • Campaign Briefing & Management: You’ll oversee the internal weekly campaign schedule, ensuring all agencies are aligned to this, and report back to the business on progress against core business KPIs.
  • SEO and Content: Collaborate with our SEO agency to develop and execute digital PR and content strategies.
  • CRM Integration: Partner with the CRM team to regularly refresh digital marketing audiences and provide support for ad-hoc CRM and social projects such as lead generation and e-receipts.
  • Test & Learn Planning: Work alongside the Digital Marketing Manager to create and manage an ongoing test plan for Paid Social, Affiliates, Display, and PPC, including feed management.
  • Collaborative Product Selection: Liaise closely with Trade and Creative teams to select products for Paid Social, PPC, Affiliate, and Display advertising.
  • Google My Business Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date store listing information, including trading hours, through Google My Business and 3rd party tools, such as Yext.
  • Competitor Analysis: Provide weekly reports on competitor activity in the realm of Paid Social

What will you need to succeed as a Digital Marketing Executive?

  • A strong interest in fashion and retail. Previous industry experience is desirable
  • Passionate about marketing and e-commerce
  • Knowledge of PPC, Paid Social, SEO, and Affiliate marketing
  • Proficient in MS applications, particularly Microsoft excel
  • Excellent communication, and presentation skills at all levels
  • Experience in project management or campaign coordination
  • A proactive team player, willing to use own initiative and step outside of your job description if necessary
  • Well organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to tight deadlines
  • A creative approach to problem solving
  • Highly detail oriented capable of successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience in using Google Analytics is desirable
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or relevant subject would be desirable
  • Some experience in copy/blog-writing would be desirable
  • Experience working in a similar role in digital marketing would be desirable
