The Deputy General Manager will be responsible in providing support to both prospective and existing homeowners / customers along with supporting the General Manager on any other areas of the operations with a focus on customer care to ensure the ongoing consistent delivery of high quality, value for money services and environments. Working in collaboration with our Customer Services Director and third-party suppliers.
The role will need to demonstrate customer care leadership ensuring that the operations of our retirement community is undertaken to the highest standards, ensuing commercial viability, regulative and statutory compliance along with maintaining the highest levels of customer service and care.

More about you
You will have a proven track record and sector experience in managing buildings and customer focussed services. E.g. hospitality, restaurants or retirement.
Due to the nature of the role you will have a strong customer service background coupled with an understanding of managing feedback in a positive way and overcoming challenges. You'll be an excellent communicator with experience of using technology in order to effectively do your job.
You'll be highly organised and feel comfortable managing multiple priorities. You'll be aware of the importance of health and safety in the workplace and be able to quickly adapt and react throughout your working day. You'll enjoy leading a team t success and be able to demonstrate how you have inspired and mentored others.
You'll have attention to detail with a need to continuously measure success and improve processes.
