Skills needed to be a Customer Service Representative

We are looking for the following skills and attributes:

Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to show attention to detail
Ability to establish collaborative customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.
A good attitude and the ability to interact with lots of different people.
Professional and friendly telephone manner
Customer Service experience
Experience of working in a target driven environment to a high standard.
PC skills, and the ability to navigate multiple systems competently, with ease.
A good consistent typing speed
Take ownership of situations with positivity, resilience, and a dedicated approach to providing service excellence.
Able to work within a fast paced, engaging environment

Start Date: 31/01/2022

Salary: £16,216.20

Site: Work from Home

Shifts: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Please be advised this is subject to change based on business needs

Training Duration: 10 days

Contract: Permanent

Probity: Credit check, DBS check and 5 year emplyment history required.

Required ID: Passport or Birth Cert, National Insurance Number and proof of address dated within the last 3 months. Please note, as part of your ongoing employment we will also need to conduct a right to work verification call.

Teleperformance is currently hiring on a permanent contract to work for a reputed client in the travel insurance Industry. In this exciting new role, you are working on behalf of a client that provides varied and comprehensive travel insurance worldwide. You would be responsible for the servicing of Travel Insurance policies which involves renewals & retentions, upgrades, medical screening, changes and cancellations, general queries regarding cover, policy terms and processing payments and refunds where applicable.


Conducting online medical screening
Inbound calls dealing with general queries regarding payments and policy details
High level of attention to detail
Following all policy and procedures and regulatory requirements
